Founded in 1971 by the late Mr. Robert A. Arevalo, First Worldwide Marketing Corporation (FWMC) began as local distributor of turf maintenance equipment imported from the United States, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and other ASEAN countries.

In the early eighties, the company expanded operations overseas specifically in Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia. It participated in various development programs sponsored by various government entities and private sectors. For four years the company was involved in several Brunei outdoor government projects particularly the Palace of the Royal Family, the Shell Housing Project, Brunei Public Works and Highways Projects. Etc.

FWMC then diversified onto golf course development projects in 1988 in Singapore which gave birth to First Worldwide Pte. Ltd. Due to the company's extensive Singapore exposure, the FWMC head office in Manila began to offer erosion control and other services catering exclusively to golf courses, agricultural and land development projects, airport and road projects, tree plantation, high value ruminant animal breeding, and high value crops production.

FWMC is the first Filipino company who pioneered the construction of the first "all weather" golf course in the Philippines, emanating from two-year construction of the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Sta. Rosa Laguna.

FWMC'S twenty two (22) years of hands-on expertise in erosion prevention and golf course development proved to be very valuable and as such, our company was nominated as the specialty contractor in the construction of the 36 holes Minosa Golf Resort and Country Club. From the initial "conceptualization" to actual construction and through to completion, FWMC did a magnificent and an outstanding job. Using the latest equipment and machineries, our company did the most advanced turf grass planting through "hydroseeding". FWMC also acknowledges that we did it with the help of hired Americanand Australian technical consultants. We are proud to say that the Mimosa Golf Resort and Country Club was mentioned in "Time" magazine and its golf community as one of the "finest in Asia".

FWMC was also commissioned by the Philippine Tourism Authority to facilitate the fast construction of Club Intramuros Golf Course using the finest technique of turf grass planting. Again we are proud to say that the course was completed ahead of schedule in spite of limited time given to finish the project prior to the celebrations of the special APEC Golf Tournament.

Further to our long list of achievements, FWMC has completed works on slope and embankment protection / re-vegetation in the Palau Compact Road Project (of DAEWOO) in the Republic of Palau, Hydroseeding for SUAL Hydro Power Plant (Pangasinan), the re-vegetation of the North Luzon Expressway Project (NLEX ) under Leighton Contractor (Phil.) seeding technology with coconut fiber nuts, and Package 2 of the same project (Clark-Tarlac) using the hydro-seeding technology only, Hydroseeding for Anvaya Cove (Subic),Hydroseeding for Hanjin (Subic), Hydroseeding for Penta Corporation (Subic), Hydroseeding for Keppel Shipyard (Subic) and Hydroseeding for Hamilo Coast Resorts in Nasugbu Batangas.

Currently, FWMC working on the Automatic Irrigation Installation of the Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation at the Global City, Taguig. We just had completed the 1st phase of slope protection/erosion control of the NLEX – Mindanao Ave. Toll Exit under the international contractor Leighton Contractor Asia, Ltd. The construction of the new international standard soccer field and the rehabilitation of Rizal Memorial Football Field and its amenities under the Philippine Sports Commission. Furthermore, we recently obtained the NOTICE TO PROCEED for the erosion control on the new Tarlac-Pangasinan-La union Expressway (TPLEX) and the Bataan Mariveles Coal Power Plant.
